Hello friends, the epidemic situation is still too complicated, so keeping yourself safe and regularly updating useful knowledge on Knowledge Sharing Blog is a perfect choice, right 🙂
To continue the series “Famous peopleNow, I invite you to learn about the biography of a character whose name has been called out for many days during the war between Russia and Ukraine. Yes, that is President Putin.
Oky. Without making you wait too long, let’s get started right away!
#first. Putin’s teenage days
In the past few days, when the whole world seemed to hold their breath to watch each war development in Ukraine, many people have also begun to pay more attention to the leader of Russia. Vladimir Putin.
Putin, or Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin was born on October 7, 1952 in Russia. His father was a naval soldier who was seriously wounded in World War II, and his mother was an ordinary worker.
Putin has two siblings, but both died at a very young age. In general, Putin’s family is relatively normal and basic like many other families, but does not have a strong background of authority as many media reports.
As a child, Putin was an intelligent child but also extremely rebellious. At the age of 12, Putin began to learn two martial arts, Sambo (a traditional martial art of the Soviet Union) and Judo.
Possessing a full martial art without having the opportunity to practice, will inevitably have an “itchy job”, so Putin is also very hard to fight. He was even said to be on the blacklist of the local police.
Because of the above bad achievements, Putin automatically became the “big brother” at school, making any student afraid when he heard his name, speaking roughly in the language of Vietnamese youth. It’s been “cold” lately guys
However, despite being a bit of a bully, Putin is still a smart and talented guy. He also studied and spoke fluent German. Teacher Gurevich – Putin’s homeroom teacher said this when remembering her student:
“I see that he likes foreign languages, he learns very quickly. It also has a good memory and is quick. I think this guy has a lot of potential so he should spend more time paying attention, pulling him away from the street kids.”
Perhaps the Gypsy blood is available from his teenage days, plus his passion for detective crime films, so Putin always nurtured in him the desire to become a spy.
That desire led the young man who had not graduated from high school to the office of the National Security Commission to find out what conditions were needed to become a cool spy.
Here, Putin learned that he needed to have served in the army for a long time, or graduated from a university with a law degree.
So as soon as he finished his high school education, Putin hurriedly planned to take the entrance exam to the law faculty of Leningrad University.
#2. Advancements in Putin’s career
After 6 years of “sharpening his crotch” at the Leningrad Law School, in 1975, Putin graduated from the University.
Perhaps the most striking highlight of Putin’s university years was his meeting the professor Anatoly Sobchak – who later led Putin on the path of a professional politician.
After leaving the university, Putin was able to return to work at the place where more than 6 years ago he had come to ask how to become a spy – the USSR National Security Committee (USSR)KGB or ).
For those of you who don’t know, the mission of the KGB was to protect the security of the Soviet Union, the KGB and the Soviet Union remained, it was the Soviet steel shield at that time.
There are many unofficial sources that also believe that the KGB contacted Putin to work before he graduated, because he was too talented and skillful. Of course, the story is right and wrong, only Putin knows!
Working at the KGB for a while, Putin was sent to train to become a high-level spy. Thus, his burning desire in his teenage days came true.
After completing the training course, Putin was sent to lie in secret in Germany for 5 years: from 1985 to 1990.
In August 1990, in the midst of chaos as socialism was on the verge of collapse in the Soviet Union, Putin quit his intelligence job and returned to live in Russia’s second largest city – Leningrad.
At this time, the mayor of the city is in need of a qualified person to take up an important position on the advisory board.
And it is also very fortunate that the Mayor of the city at that time was Professor Anatoly Sobchak – Putin’s old teacher during his years in the university lecture hall. As someone who had seen Putin’s qualities before, Professor Sobchak trusted him and gave him the position of advisor to the Mayor.
Later, due to the nature of his work, Putin met and interacted with many important and influential figures.
Thanks to this overwhelming consensus and support, along with his inherent talent and confidence – Putin has had a career path that is as high as a kite later on.
Six years after becoming Mayor, Professor Sobchak lost his position because of a failed election. To show himself as a gentleman who respects “brotherhood”, Putin has refused to serve the new leader.
This decision did not bring Putin disadvantage, on the contrary, it also brought him new experiences. Because soon after, Putin was appointed as Deputy Director of the Property Management Department at the Presidential Palace.
A short time later, in March 1997, Putin was again appointed as Deputy Chief of the Office of the Presidential Office. Around the same time, Putin successfully defended his thesis Candidate of Science in Economics – a thesis that later got Putin entangled in accusations of plagiarism.
Putin’s career continued to be favorable when in July 1998, he was appointed Director of the Federal Security Service.
Thus, Putin became the supreme leader of the organization of which he was a member. It seems that Putin’s decision to definitely quit the old intelligence profession is very reasonable, right?
#3. Putin becomes the supreme leader of Russia
Putin’s career paths seem to have been very smooth. But perhaps Putin would not be mentioned as a hero of Russia and I would not be sitting here to share with you about Russian President Putin without the following facts.
The President of Russia at that time was Mr Boris Yeltsin. Mr. Yeltsin can be said to be very conscientious, but unfortunately he is not qualified, or may not have the time to lead the country.
Therefore, Russia under Yeltsin’s time was very desolate, the people were starving, the ruling forces and politicians were constantly corrupt, colluding with each other to carve out and exploit the people, making the people happy. Russia is getting worse day by day.
Yeltsin is extremely distressed but still does not know how to improve the situation, because his strength is limited and there is no face to whom he can trust. In that situation, the name Putin came to Yeltsin as a soft note, a solution to turn the tide for the entire Russian people.
He called Putin over and instructed roughly: “Putin, I will empower you. You can do whatever you want, but you have to take care of Russia for me…”.
After Putin agreed, the empowerment plan began. In August 1998, Putin was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Russia. About a week later, on August 16, 1999, he was approved as Prime Minister by the National Assembly.
Four months later, Mr. Yeltsin resigned. The election that followed brought Putin officially in the chair of President of Russia.
And the first thing Putin does when he becomes President is the same thing that former President Yeltsin cherishes, which is to eliminate all the tycoons and businesses that exist throughout the country, who take turns killing people.
Not only known as a talented leader, Putin is also very close to the people because of his very “lifetime” hobbies such as topless, martial arts, horseback riding, boating, pet raising, etc.
Putting aside the majestic appearance of a head of state, Putin in family outings is always a happy, healthy and energetic man.
On the sidelines of the war situation between Russia and Ukraine, I may not have enough knowledge and authority to dissect the issue and consider the wrong side and the right side.
However, there is one thing that I always keep in mind – as in the words of Nguyen Duy’s poem: “In the end/ In all wars/ Whichever side wins, the people lose…”
Perhaps: me, you and all the peace-loving people in the world want no more wars to break out. Let’s all turn to Ukraine with our best wishes for the people of this beautiful country!
