First time traveling to Mai Chau late at night
I had the opportunity to travel to Mai Chau late at night after driving more than 100km by motorbike from Hanoi. Before, I didn’t have any problems before, I also ran by 1.2 times but never visited this place. When I first came to visit Mai Chau, I was treated to a strange peace. Peace from farmer life, to people, and even rustic dishes.
Mai Chau is peaceful from people to landscapes
What impressed me most was the people, all from the elderly, hotel owners, and children. Everyone talked so cute, surprisingly soft. Although there were almost no tourists when I arrived, because part of the trip was in the middle of the week, and part of the trip still did not have a certain comfort for travel. All the restaurants thought they weren’t serving customers, but they didn’t ask what the owner of the restaurant still made, in a warm way.
Very delicious rustic food when traveling to Mai Chau
There is one dish that I like the most, which is banh cuon (there will be a separate clip about this dish). And perhaps this is the part of the best banh cuon in the universe, the planet, the multiverse has nothing to do with it. The broth is super mouth-watering, you can drink the whole bowl in 1 puff. The grilled meat has just arrived, the meat is soft and fragrant, not dry. The seasoning is delicious, soft and succulent. Everywhere you eat, you always go there, this is a must-eat dish when traveling to Mai Chau
Hotels when traveling to Mai Chau
I stayed in 2 hotels during my trip to Mai Chau 3 days 2 nights: the head Little Mai Chau Homestay, the second one is Mai Chau Ecolodge. I personally prefer the first, rustic but quite comfortable view and the hotel is very beautiful. Ah, but the way to do tourism here is also very civilized, from homestay to hotel. They all built quite dependent on nature, not concreting too much.
Cycling is an experience you should try when traveling to Mai Chau
In the afternoon, cycling around the village, watching the sunset, buying a few cans of beer, going to the dike to sit and sip, is probably the most worthwhile experience when going to Mai Chau.
When I went, the weather was quite hot, only cool at night. Maybe this is the reason I will come back a second time around the cold weather. To sit by the hot pot, eat 1 more plate of stream fish, drink a cup of apple cider is great.
