“I turned off real-time web protection and now it works fine. Any devices I have that don’t have Malwarebytes (Android phones, other windows devices) are not affected.”
Malwarebytes was quick to respond to user reports that there was a temporary issue affecting web filtering in the company’s security products, including http://google.com.
How to handle the error of not being able to access Google
Malwarebytes also provided a solution for affected users, asking them to disable the buggy module by opening Malwarebytes and disabling the Web Protection option in the Real-time Protection tab (Enable Features Real Time Protection -> turn off Web Protection).
Or you use the Update function of Malwarebyte to update to the latest version 1.0.60360, so you will not be blocked from accessing Google Web sites.
However, according to the assessment, the new update is not stable, some large companies are still blocked by Malwarebyte from Google. It may be necessary to wait for the 2nd update of Malwarebyte to completely solve the above situation.
