The article was done on a Windows operating system laptop with Word 2016 version, in addition, you can also do it on Word 2007, 2010, 2013, 2019 and on MacOS versions with the same operation.
Editing and installing to check Vietnamese spelling in Word is a very necessary thing for anyone who is using Word to edit documents with the following benefits:

- Helps you avoid unnecessary spelling mistakes.
- Help you draft better, more confident when working.
To perform a Vietnamese spell check, you first need to download the following Vietnamese language file so that Word can understand and check the correct Vietnamese language.
Step 1: Load Vietnamese language file about your machine.

Step 2: After successful download > You unzip the file out as shown in the picture.

Step 3: Copy files just unzipped > Press Windows + CHEAP key combination to open the function Run > Enter the code below Open section > Press Run.

Copy the extracted file > Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run function > Enter the code in the Open section > Click Run

After installing the Vietnamese language file with the steps above, you continue to install and use the Vietnamese spell check feature in the Word file with the following steps!
Step 1: Open 1 Word files any > Select File card.
Open any Word file > Select the File tab
Step 2: Choose Options.

Step 3: In the dialog box that appears > Select Section Proofing > Go to When correcting spelling and grammar in Word > Checkmark Check spelling as you type.

Step 4: Click Custom Dictionaries…. above the part you just made in step 4.

Step 6: In the pop-up dialog > Go to folder Uproof just now you pasted the Vietnamese language file > Select Vietnamese language file > Press Open.

Step 7: Leave the check mark In the default file, check for English errors CUSTOM.DIC > Check enter Vietnamese.dic just added > Click Yes warning panel appears.

Step 8: Press OK to install the Vietnamese spell check function in Word and turn off Word Option.

Step 9: Now you can edit text comfortably, if you write a word that is spelling mistake then Word will cross it in red under that word like the picture below.
Words that are misspelled will be underlined in red below
