#first. How to set up computer login with facial recognition on Windows 11
Step 1. Press Win + S to open Windows Search => then search with keyword Sign-in options => and press Open to open.
Step 2. You find the option Facial recognition (Windows Hello) or Windows Hello Face => then choose Set up to establish.
Step 3. In the next window you choose Get started
Enter your computer’s current PIN, the purpose is to confirm you have permission to set up this computer.
Step 4. In this step, place your face in the center of the screen so that the camera records your facial features.
After the recognition is complete, you will see a message like the image below appear, press Close to close and finish Set up face login (Windows Hello Face).
BONUS:
Below you will see another option which is Improve recognition (meaning improved recognition). This feature is quite useful for those of you who wear glasses, it allows you to Recording while wearing glasses and Recording without glasses.
If you previously set up facial recognition while wearing glasses, now take off your glasses and use this option to set up more cases without glasses. So Windows will recognize you whether you wear glasses or not.
How to remove facial recognition on Windows 11?
It’s simple, you go back to the section Sign-in options
And choose feature Windows Hello Face => then Remove This form is fine.
#2. How to set up Windows Hello Face on Windows 10
Completely the same as on Windows 11 guys!
Step 1. Press Win + S to open Windows Search => then search with keyword Sign-in options => and press Open to open.
Step 2. You find the section Windows Hello Face => then choose Set up to start the setup as shown below.
Step 3. You press select Get started to start the setup.
Step 4. You place your face in the center of the frame so that Windows records your identifying features.
The facial recognition process is complete. If you have not set a PIN for your computer before, please click the Set up PIN button to PIN code setting for computer.
The purpose is that when you can’t open the computer with your face (for some reason), you can choose another way to open the computer, that is, using the PIN or computer password that you have set.
Before setting a PIN for your computer, Windows requires you to enter your computer’s current password.
Then you set up a new PIN for the computer.
Step 5. Progress Set up Windows Hello Face on Windows 10 finished.
On Windows 10, there is also an Improve recognition feature, set it up to improve the computer’s facial recognition capabilities. I already explained it above, so I won’t explain it again here.
How to remove facial recognition on Windows 10?
You also re-enter the section Sign-in options.
Then go back to the Windows Hello Face => then choose Remove go and done.
