Got some videos on TikTok that you don’t want people to see anymore? No need to delete them anywhere, you can completely snooze the videos you’ve posted on TikTok.
1. How to hide videos I’ve posted on TikTok
Step 1: Open the TikTok app on your iPhone or Android phone. At the homepage, click on the icon File yourself in the lower right corner.
Step 2: Click on the video that you want to hide. In the video playback screen, select Share in the lower right corner.
Step 3: At the bottom options, swipe left to find Privacy settings.
Step 4: Select settings Who can watch this video, then choose permission Only me.
As such, your video has been set to privacy to Only Me. This video will be moved to the private section of your profile (the padlock icon).
2. Make the account private
Currently TikTok does not have an option to hide all your videos on TikTok. Instead, making the account private can produce the effect you want.
By default, your TikTok account starts as public, which means other people can see your videos. But you can easily change the account permissions to private.
You then have the right to approve or deny tracking requests from strangers. Only people who have followed you can see your content.
Step 1: At TikTok’s homepage, click profile icon yourself in the lower right corner.
Step 2: Select icon 3 dashes in the upper right corner >> Settings and Privacy.
Step 3: On the Settings screen, go to Privacy. Then turn on mode Private account.
From there, every time you get a new follower, you can decide whether or not to allow the person to follow.
Those who have already followed you will not be affected.
Above is a guide to hide videos I posted on TikTok. If you want to protect your privacy more closely, consider turning on Private account again!
