How to dissolve Zalo group, delete Zalo chat group

Zalo allows you to disband the group to delete all members and chat history in the group.

1. Disbanding the Zalo group, what are the benefits of deleting the group on Zalo?

In other applications, to delete a group will have to delete each member of the group and imagine how much time it will take to delete 1000 members manually. Because of this problem, Zalo has added a group disbanding feature to remove all members from the group quickly. Dissolving the group will be the same as deleting the group, Zalo will automatically delete the group members and delete the entire chat history in the group (cannot be restored). The group members who are not friends with each other, after deleting the group, will become strangers, not in the friends list.

The group disbanding feature on Zalo is used a lot by marketers, after conveying the necessary information to everyone, they choose to disband the group to avoid disturbing people.

2. How to dissolve the group, delete the Zalo chat group on the phone

On the phone platform, you can easily disperse the Zalo chat group quickly through the Zalo chat group management Settings section.

Step 1: You open the Chat group on Zalo to disband/delete the group and select the item Options => Group Settings to view grouping features.

Step 2: Then you choose Disbanding the group => Disbanding to delete all group members and group messages permanently.

Note: When deleting, disbanding a group on Zalo will not be able to undo (restore) group members or group messages. So, please consider carefully before disbanding the group on Zalo, back up all important messages to avoid data loss.

3. How to dissolve the group, delete the Zalo chat group on the computer

Similar to the phone platform, the chat group on the computer Zalo application can also delete and dissolve the group quickly through the settings. To delete the Zalo chat group on your computer, you need to do the following:

Step 1: You open the chat group to be disbanded on your computer Zalo and select the item Options (two squares icon).

Step 2: In the options section, you open the item Group management to view all settings related to Zalo’s chat group.

Step 3: In the end, you just have to choose Disbanding the group to delete the group and all members of the group/conversation.

Step 4: Before deleting the group, you will need to confirm once with the message Disbanding the group. This means that it cannot be restored (including messages and members, photos, …)
