GreekAn Italian yacht carrying 237 passengers and 51 crew members caught fire off the Ionian coast.
The Greek port police said the yacht Euroferry Olympia caught fire this morning as it traveled from Igoumenitsa, Greece, to the Italian city of Brindisi. Three Greek Coast Guard patrol boats and three tugboats were dispatched to the scene to help evacuate passengers.
“Captain Euroferry Olympia asked the passengers to disembark,” police said.

All passengers were evacuated from the ship by lifeboats, according to local media. No casualties have been reported so far.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
