Way #1. Use Foxit Reader software to translate text
Foxit Reader Is one Software that supports reading PDF files very famous on Windows operating system. Previously, it was a default software that any brother install Windows will also be installed on the client’s computer.
However, you may not know that in addition to the feature of opening PDF files, Foxit Reader also supports reading text , cut PDF files…. and also support translate content in PDF files into the language you want.
1.1. A few basic settings
Step 1. First, open your Foxit Reader application. If not installed you can Download Foxit Reader Download and install it on your computer first. Then you open the PDF file to be translated.
Step 2. Next you click on the menu File => choose Preferences.
At the dialog box Preferences you click open tab Foxit Drive. If you are late, the default is to translate from English to Vietnamese, then set up the section:
- Translate From is English.
- Translate To is Vietnamese.
=> Then click OK to set up text translation from English to Vietnamese.
Step 3. Next, at the Foxit Reader interface, click to open the tab Extras => and choose Login Account to login.
Dialog box Sign In opens, here you choose to sign in with your existing account like Google, Facebook or Microsoft.
Then enter the password and click Sign In to continue.
If you use an existing account to log in, press Allow to authorize Foxit Reader and complete the registration.
1.2. How to translate PDF files from English to Vietnamese
After logging into your account, at tab Extras you click Translate => then choose OK at the dialog box Translation.
To use the translation tool. Now you just need to highlight the text area to be translated, and Translate will automatically open the dialog box Translate Selected Lines Displays the translation of the selected text area.
Here you can highlight the translated text => then press Ctrl + C to copy out another file for processing (if necessary).
In other cases, if you want to translate documents from Vietnamese to English, you can re-enter File => Preferences.
At the dialog box Preferences you choose Foxit Drivethen reset Translate From to be Vietnamese, Translate To to be English and press OKto set up Vietnamese to English text translation.
Then click on the Translate tool, before highlighting the text area for Translate to automatically translate the text in the PDF file.
Method #2. Use Google translate to translate PDF files
Step 1. You access the following address: https://translate.google.com/?hl=en => then select tab Tài liệu.
Step 2. Select the input language and output language for the text file you want to translate.
Step 3. Click the button Tìm tệp trên máy tính của bạn to upload the file you want to translate (support docx, pdf, pptx and xlsx files).
Way #3. Translate PDF files with online tools
In addition to the two ways above, you can use a few online tools to help translate PDF files, such as:
